I work at an international school so we have students from different countries, some of them have joined us from tropical and warm climates and it's their first time seeing snow, which is just pure joy to watch and reminded me of when I first came to Korea.
It was a cold February night when I landed at Incheon International and soft flakes of snow were falling from the sky. I felt like I had stepped into a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. I've loved snow ever since.

I grew up in Saudi Arabia, India and Australia, very hot places, so to me snow is magical and soft and pretty. I know it's also cold and dangerous too but I can't help but feel excited and giggly every time it snows.
In Korea you're supposed to witness the first snow with your boyfriend or girlfriend, it's good luck :) so Aaron and I always keep an eye out for the first snow and if we're apart we send each other a text saying "it's snowing, I'm thinking of you," :P we're a little bit cute like that! :P

Today, I took my Film Studies students up to the roof and we enjoyed the soft white flakes falling gently and made precious memories - this class is filled with Year 12s who will be graduating soon, so making memories is important 💙

Even the Kakao Talk background changes to snow flakes ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ which is just the cutest thing for those of you who don't know, Kakao is Korea's version of WhatsApp.
That's it, just wanted to write a post about snow. When was the first time you saw snow? Do you like it or not? Let me know what you think :)
Enjoy this cute video of a baby seeing snow for the first time :)
Winter is my favourite season. Greetings from Hungary, we just had the first snow of the year these days. While I was watching it, I was thinking about how magical it is, even if I see it every year.
So glad you enjoy the snow so much. I am the opposite. I grew up in Canada so now I prefer a warm climate and I like to take snow in small doses. It's funny how our upbringing influences what we enjoy but not surprising!
Here in Canada we have snow also, but ir is not my favorite season :O(
Enjoy your fisrt snow
I love the "snow tradition" in South Korea as I find it so lovely. And I think it's magical too even if I'm not a big fan of the cold!!
